Day 1 – Depart home for your flight to Paris.
Day 2 – Arrive Paris and transfer to the hotel. After checking in there is time to relax before we take you for a walk around the neighborhood to show you what is where including a stop at a fabulous chocolate shop. Our hotel is located in St. Germain, in a typical Parisian neighborhood with cafes, restaurants and pubs, and just a few blocks from the Quai along the Seine. The Louvre, the Musee de Orsay with its fantastic selection of Impressionists and Notre Dame are all within walking distance. In the evening dinner is down the street in a small restaurant that’s that’s big on charm and great food. D
Day 3 – After sleeping in, start the day with a leisurely breakfast in the beautiful atrium breakfast room of the hotel. Later we go on a foodie walk that will take you to a famous chocolatier, a fantastic bakery, a food market and a pastry shop. Afterward the remainder of the afternoon is on your own. In the evening enjoy Boeuf Bourguinon in a small Restaurant near the hotel.
Day 4 – This morning you will embark for a day at Disneyland Paris. After returning to the hotel the evening will be on your own.
Day 5 – This morning visit the Ille de Cite the island in the Seine where Paris had its beginning and where the Cathedral of Notre Dame is located. Visit the Cathedral and its eery Crypt, who knows you may run into the Hunchback of Notre Dame. After the visit, the afternoon is on your own. In the evening enjoy a once in a lifetime dinner at atop the Eiffel Tower at Jules Verne, 397 foot above Paris.
Day 6 – Having tasted the chocolates at Jules Verne we have a private visit to the chocolatier who creates the chocolates for the restaurant. It’s not a chocolate factory but the private studio of a chocolate artist with a romantic garden where the flavors for his chocolates are grown. Afterward, return to the hotel where the remainder of the afternoon and evening is on your own.B
Day 7 – After breakfast, we transfer to the train station to travel to Montreux in Switzerland where the beautiful Hotel Suisse Majestic will be home for the next three days. later you will go for a stroll ending with a Fondue dinner in a historic restaurant.
Day 8 – After breakfast, a special day is in store for us. We will take the train to Vevey to visit the former home of Charly Chaplin, a beautiful and fascinating place. Later we can’t afford to miss the chocolatier whose specialty is the Big shoes of Charly Chaplin done in Chocolate. Back at the hotel, the evening is on your own.
Day 9 – This morning we take the Chocolate Train to the mountain town of Gruyere where the train makes a stop to visit the cheese factory that produces the delectable Gruyere cheese and to take a closer look at the castle that towers above the village. Then we reboard the train for the ride to Broc to visit the Cailler/Nestle Chocolate Factory.
Day 10 – Today we travel by train to Geneva where you stay in a sumptuous hotel in the center of the old town. The hotel is housed in four historic buildings dating to the 13th century. After getting settled take some time to relax in your beautiful room before taking a stroll through old Geneva brimming with stores, restaurants, and cafes. In the evening dinner is at the hotel’s restaurant which is one of the best in Geneva serving traditional cuisine.
Day 11 – The morning is at leisure. In the afternoon we have a private visit to Switzerland’s oldest Chocolaterie whose chocolates have been bought by many famous people including Grace Kelly, JF Kennedy, and Winston Churchill. The visit ends with time out in their comfortable tea room to savor some of their irresistible treats. After returning to the hotel the evening is on your own.
Day 12 – After a slow breakfast board one of the lake steamers to cross Lake Geneva into France, to visit the medieval town of Annecy where you have time on your on to shop or pause for lunch before taking the steamer back to Geneva. In the evening we meet to have dinner in one of the nicest restaurants in Geneva, that of our hotel.
Day 13 – Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
Tour Cost: $4,980.00 per person in a double room.
Single Cost: $6,150.00
